Blockchain game company Planetarium Labs announced on the 7th that it received $32 million (about 41.5 billion won) in Series A (first institutional investment).

Analysts say that it received an unusually large amount of investment in Series A.

The investment was led by Anymoca Brands, a global blockchain company with metaverse platform The Sandbox as a subsidiary.

Kakao’s blockchain affiliate Crust Universe, Samsung Next, Samsung Electronics’ investment-specialized affiliate, and game company Wemade also participated in the investment.

According to the venture capital (VC) industry, Planetarium Labs has been recognized for its corporate value of more than 300 billion won in this investment.

The corporate value that Planetarium Labs previously recognized in January last year was about 10 billion won. At that time, Naver and others invested.

In other words, the value of Planetarium Labs has jumped more than 30 times in a year and 7 months. In January this year, Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, also invested in Planetarium Labs.
