Krafton will recruit the fourth development team of the incubating program “Special Project 2” (hereinafter referred to as SP2), which seeks the fun of games with deep learning technology.
SP2 will focus on recruiting batch 4 for applicants who have experience in game development or are willing to produce games from today (14th) to August 7. Applications can be made in teams of at least two to up to six people, and preferential treatment is given if the proportion of engineers in the team is high, deep learning experience, or team launch experience.
Batch 4 will repeat the process of autonomously discovering game ideas and implementing them through deep learning from September, and will share the progress with Jang Byung-kyu, chairman of the Krafton Board of Directors, at regular intervals to deepen the project. When the fun of the ongoing project game becomes visible, there is also an opportunity to incorporate it into the official production line through an internal process.
Kim Min-jung, general manager of Krafton SP2, said, “SP2 is a project to paint the future of the game in an attempt to incorporate deep learning technology into the essence of game fun,” adding, “We wait for passionate people who will create new challenges with Krafton.”
SP2 is Krafton’s own incubation program led by Jang Byung-kyu, chairman of Krafton’s board of directors. It started in 2020 to develop innovative and new games by utilizing deep learning, which has been spotlighted as the core of artificial intelligence technology.
