Korea’s Largest Global Startup Fair Held

The Korea Development Bank and the Korea International Trade Association announced on the 9th that they will hold “NextRise 2022 Seoul,” the largest global startup pair in Korea, at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from the 16th to the 17th of this month.

The event, which marks its fourth anniversary this year, is the nation’s largest startup fair jointly hosted by the National Science and Technology Research Association, the Venture Business Association, and the Korea Venture Capital Association.

More than 310 startups will participate in the booth exhibition, the largest ever. Unicorn companies such as Jikbang and Liddy as well as domestic and foreign large companies such as Hyundai Motor, LG, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as unicorn companies and various venture ecosystems will participate.

This year, university halls and global zones will be expanded. Thirty startups from nine universities, including POSTECH, will participate in the university hall. In the global zone, 30 startups from 11 countries, including the United States and Spain, will participate in the booth
